Details

An employment law attorney practicing law in the state of Colorado, Meredith A. Munro is the founder of the Denver-based legal firm Munro Law LLC. She brings over two and a half decades of experience to the table and represents plaintiffs in federal and state courts and fights aggressively to protect their employment and civil rights.

Majoring in economics and English, Ms. Munro graduated from Rice University in 1984. She pursued her legal studies at the University of California, Hastings College of Law and earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1991. At the university, she was honored for her accomplishments and academic excellence with multiple awards and was also a member of the Order of the Coif, a national honorary society for law school graduates.

After graduating from law school, Ms. Munro clerked at the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit for a year. She worked as an attorney in two private law firms for almost 10 years, before she joined the United States Securities and Exchange Commission as a securities enforcement attorney.

Along with trying cases to verdict in courtrooms across the state, Ms. Munro settles issues and disputes outside the court using alternate and cost-effective methods, including mediation and arbitration. She is experienced in litigating cases in both government and private settings, and always approaches her clients with the utmost compassion and professionalism.

Ms. Munro’s unwavering commitment to obtaining justice for all, regardless of their background and financial situation, doesn’t end with her day-to-day legal activities. She has written and published several articles and engages in lectures and conferences pertaining to her practice. She is a member of the Colorado Plaintiff Employment Lawyers Association, where she is President Elect, the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, and the National Employment Lawyers Association (sitting on the Judicial Nominating Committee).
