Michelle L. Walker

Michelle L. Walker is the founder of Walker Law Offices, LLC, a family law practice located in Denver, Colorado. With over 28 years of legal experience, she concentrates her practice on family law and domestic relations matters, including divorce, legal separation, child custody and allocation of parental responsibilities, child support, paternity, adoption, post-decree modifications and domestic violence cases. Admitted to the Colorado State Bar in 1998, she serves clients throughout the Denver-metro counties.

Ms. Walker is dedicated to providing high-quality, effective and affordable legal representation tailored to the unique circumstances of each case, regardless of complexity or the amount at issue. Her practice encompasses a broad range of family law services, with particular focus on child custody matters, divorce and separation proceedings and child support issues. She also handles uncontested divorces, alimony disputes and post-decree matters that arise after initial judgments have been entered. Her approach emphasizes keeping clients well-informed throughout the legal process while providing strong advocacy during court hearings.

A native of Sioux City, Iowa, Ms. Walker earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Metropolitan State College of Denver in 1992. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 1998. During law school, she was actively involved in law review and the student law office, and clerked for a litigation firm in downtown Denver. Following graduation, she worked as an associate and later became a partner at a boutique law firm in downtown Denver, where she specialized in civil litigation and family law before establishing her own practice in June 2005. She is an active member of the Colorado Bar Association and the Denver Bar Association.
