Criminal defense attorney Patrick J. Mulligan is a Denver native who has focused solely on protecting the rights of accused people in Colorado since 1988. Patrick has handled thousands of criminal cases over that time and charges ranging from misdemeanor DUI and assault crimes up to felonies including first-degree murder. He is one of the very few criminal defense attorneys to win First Degree Murder cases at the trial, appellate, and post-conviction stages. In addition to his extensive experience with criminal trials, Patrick has acquired exceptional expertise with respect to mental health issues in criminal cases and in the areas of appellate law and post-conviction (Rule 35c) litigation.
