Paula A. Holt

Paula A. Holt runs a family law practice through the Holt Resolution Group LLC in Denver, Colorado. Representing clients throughout the Denver metro area and the state of Colorado, Ms. Holt offers legal guidance and counsel on various family law matters with a focus on mediation, collaborative law and appellate law.

An accomplished attorney with more than 15 years of experience, Ms. Holt serves her clients in a professional manner, especially during high-conflict cases. Over the course of her legal career, she has gained extensive legal knowledge through her mentorship under some of Colorado’s most renowned family law attorneys. 

After Completing her undergraduate degree (summa cum laude) in finance and marketing from Arizona State University, Ms. Holt pursued her law degree at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. After obtaining her Juris Doctor summa cum laude, she was subsequently admitted to legal practice in Colorado and before the Supreme Court of the United States of America. She also holds an M.B.A. from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business and a master’s in conflict resolution from the University of Denver. 

Prior to joining private practice, Ms. Holt served as a law clerk for first judicial district judge Randall C. Arp. Her current practice mainly focuses on magistrate reviews, state court appeals, mediation and arbitration. In addition, she works as a lecturer at the Daniels College of Business, teaching business ethics and legal studies. 

Ms. Holt has been honored with the Colorado Bar Association’s George Holley Young Lawyer Award and she has a 10 out of 10 rating on Avvo, along with many positive client reviews and peer endorsements. She is also listed among the Best Lawyers in 2020, 2021, and 2023. Furthermore, she was named to the Top 10 Attorneys Under 40 list (2015) by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys.

Maintaining her ties with the legal community, Ms. Holt is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the Denver Bar Association, the Colorado’s Women’s Bar Association and the Supreme Court Standing Committee on Family Issues. She is also the president of the Rocky Mountain Academy of Legal Studies in Business and a board member of the Society for Descriptive Psychology.
