Philip Goldberg is the founder of Philip Goldberg PC in Denver, Colorado, where he concentrates on complex family law disputes, including high-asset divorce, custody conflicts and sensitive domestic matters that require both strategic advocacy and discretion. His practice also extends to probate and estate litigation, real estate conflicts, commercial disputes and appellate representation, allowing him to guide clients through multifaceted legal challenges from initial filing through appeal when necessary.
A seasoned courtroom advocate, Mr. Goldberg has handled numerous jury and bench trials and has presented arguments before appellate courts across multiple jurisdictions, including the Colorado Supreme Court, Colorado Court of Appeals, Georgia Court of Appeals and Illinois Appellate Court, as well as federal venues such as the United States District Court for the District of Colorado and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. His ability to translate complicated legal issues into persuasive arguments has earned him a reputation for thorough preparation and effective advocacy.
Peers and professional organizations have repeatedly recognized Mr. Goldberg’s work. He holds the highest peer rating of AV Preeminent* through Martindale-Hubbell, has been included in The Best Lawyers in America for family law, and has been named among the Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyers by the National Trial Lawyers. He also maintains a “Superb” rating on Avvo.
Beyond his client work, Mr. Goldberg is active in the legal community. He contributes to professionalism initiatives through the Colorado Bar Association, has participated in leadership roles with the American Bar Association, and is a Master of the Bench in the Rhone Brackett Inn of Court.
Before entering private practice, Mr. Goldberg attended the Virginia Military Institute on scholarship and later served as an officer in the United States Army, receiving honors for leadership and active-duty service during the Persian Gulf War – an experience that continues to shape his disciplined, client-focused approach to law.
