Robert Lantz

Robert Lantz, representing the Lantz Law Group in Denver, Colorado, has over 30 years of experience in commercial and business litigation and serves clients throughout the state.

After earning his law degree from Drake University, Mr. Lantz commenced his legal journey as a staff attorney with the U.S. Trustee Office in Kansas City, Missouri. This foundational experience provided him with a robust understanding of the intricacies of the legal system, particularly in areas such as civil litigation, bankruptcy, insolvency and business transactions.

Mr. Lantz’s career trajectory was further enriched by a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Sidney B. Brooks, a retired bankruptcy judge. This pivotal role ignited his interest in international transnational insolvency and the promotion of the Rule of Law in Eastern European countries, Russia, and other emerging nations. Drawing from his extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, he now leverages his knowledge to assist businesses in navigating complex legal landscapes, ensuring their success and safeguarding their interests.

In his practice, Mr. Lantz adopts a meticulous and proactive approach, likening his legal work to that of a craftsman. He places significant emphasis on thorough transactional work upfront to mitigate the potential for future litigation. He is dedicated to maintaining open and transparent communication with his clients, ensuring they are well-informed and considering all possible alternatives before proceeding with costly and time-consuming litigation.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Lantz is deeply involved in community service. He serves as the president of the Denver Council on Foreign Relations, the oldest international organization in Denver. Additionally, he is a board member and treasurer of ALIGHT, a nonprofit organization focused on connecting survivors of human trafficking with qualified legal representation to address their unique needs. His commitment to these roles underscores his dedication to promoting justice and supporting vulnerable populations.

Mr. Lantz’s educational background includes a law degree from Drake University Law School and dual degrees in B.S. and B.B.A. from Iowa State University. Mr. Lantz is admitted to the bar in Colorado, Kansas (inactive) and Missouri.
