The senior managing associate attorney at the law firm of Chayet & Danzo, LLC, Tamara E. Trujillo has more than 15 years of experience representing the best interests of her clients. She serves clients throughout Colorado as well as Court appointed cases.
Ms. Trujillo understands the importance of planning and helps create directions for families to have better control over their futures. She assists her clients with estate planning, probate administration, elder law, public benefits, complex estate litigation, and complex guardianships and conservatorships for minors & adults.
Ms. Trujillo has earned the distinction as a Certified Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation and is a former director of the National Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). She is also involved in numerous sections and committees in NAELA, both past and present. Ms. Trujillo is a current member of the Colorado Bar Association's Elder Law Section and Trust and Estate Section, Colorado Women's Bar Association, American Bar Association, Denver Bar Association, Douglas/Elbert County Bar Association and Arapahoe County Bar Association.
Ms. Trujillo is also an adjunct elder law professor at the University of Colorado Law School with Marco Chayet and Ms. Trujillo volunteers to contribute to those who are in need. She is a member of Metro Volunteer Lawyers - Denver Bar Association and provides pro bono services through the organization.
Ms. Trujillo majored in real estate and marketing and obtained her bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University in 2006. She received her Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University School of Law in Indiana in 2009. During her law school tenure, she was a part of Valparaiso's Low Income Taxpayer Clinic and the winner of the Trial Advocacy Program. Ms. Trujillo was licensed to practice in the state of Colorado in 2009. She grew up in the Denver area, graduating from Colorado Academy and now resides in Parker, Colorado with her family.
