He was included on the American Society of Legal Advocates’ list of Top 40 Under 40 and was selected as a fellow by the Colorado Bar Foundation. He was also presented with the Pro Bono Award by the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. Mr. Garvey is an active member of the American Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, the Denver Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Faculty of Federal Advocates and the Plaintiff Employment Lawyers Association. He was the former president of the Colorado Lawyer Chapter of the American Constitution Society, co-chair for the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association’s New Lawyers Division and a council member of the Colorado Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division.
