Hailing from St. Louis, Missouri, Mr. Brungard completed his Bachelor of Science in business administration and psychology at the University of Missouri, Columbia, in 2008. He received his Juris Doctor from The University of Tulsa College of Law in 2012 and his Colorado legal license in 2013.

During law school, Mr. Brungard served as a production editor for the Tulsa Law Review authoring a published article while in school. He was bestowed with the CALI Excellence for the Future Award and offered membership in the Phi Delta Phi. He served as a summer intern at the Missouri Attorney General's Office as well as the U.S. Probation Office for the Eastern District of Missouri. He later functioned as a judicial intern for federal Magistrate Judge T. Lane Wilson.

In nearly 10 years of his legal career, Mr. Brungard has efficiently represented his clients’ rights in the state, federal and tribal courts of Colorado. He is frequently chosen as a Colorado Criminal Justice Act Panel attorney by government organizations.
