During law school, Mr. Brungard served as a production editor for the Tulsa Law Review authoring a published article while in school. He was bestowed with the CALI Excellence for the Future Award and offered membership in the Phi Delta Phi. He served as a summer intern at the Missouri Attorney General's Office as well as the U.S. Probation Office for the Eastern District of Missouri. He later functioned as a judicial intern for federal Magistrate Judge T. Lane Wilson.
