Jamie is a dedicated attorney with a deep focus on family law, and she truly understands the complexities and emotional challenges that her clients face.
With years of experience, she has been fortunate to help numerous families navigate their domestic relations cases, achieving positive outcomes that make a real difference in their lives. Jamie’s exceptional negotiation skills allow her clients to find resolutions that respect their needs and circumstances, guiding them toward peace of mind. In addition to her negotiation abilities, Jamie has taken on the challenge of over 100 trials in criminal law and domestic relations. Her litigation skills stand out, providing her clients with confidence that, if necessary, she will advocate fiercely on their behalf to secure the best possible results.
Jamie recognizes that each case is unique and often involves sensitive topics such as divorce and child custody disputes. She has also successfully managed complex grandparents’ rights cases, all with the utmost care for the welfare of the children involved. Understanding that many families are moving to Colorado, Jamie is well-versed in the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act (UCCJEA), helping parents navigate the legal landscape during these transitions. Her ultimate goal is to achieve outcomes that promote the well-being of families and children, ensuring their best interests are at the heart of her work.
Jamie earned her Juris Doctorate from Campbell University School of Law, graduating cum laude in the top 15% of her class while serving on the law review. She also graduated cum laude with an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Communications from the University of Northern Colorado.
Jamie is deeply committed to giving back to her community — as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), she compassionately supports children caught in the dependency and neglect system. Additionally, she volunteers her time and skills to help victims of human trafficking, providing pro bono legal services to those in need. She also serves on the Board of Advisors for A Precious Child who helps underprivileged children.
Jamie embraces challenges in both her personal and professional life, viewing each as an opportunity to grow and thrive. An avid weightlifter, she has participated in and won several Strong Woman Competitions, demonstrating her determination and resilience. Growing up in Colorado, she enjoys staying active and cherishes spending time outdoors with her family, whether hiking, snowboarding, or swimming together.
Jamie's sincere passion for helping others and commitment to her community truly shine through in all aspects of her life.
