Jennifer Schaffner is the owner and founder of Schaffner Law LLC, a boutique family law firm conveniently located in the Denver Tech Center. Her areas of expertise include high-net-worth cases involving complex assets, child support, child custody and parenting time concerns, alimony and spousal support, collaborative divorce, and family law appeals. Schaffner Law LLC serves clients throughout the Denver metro area and in the mountain communities of Vail, Steamboat and Aspen.
In 2024, Ms. Schaffner founded Schaffner Law LLC, aiming to provide personalized and outstanding representation to individuals navigating the complex world of divorce. In providing excellent representation to her clients, Jennifer draws upon her extensive background in family law and litigation to guide them through complex legal challenges, helping them achieve favorable resolutions.
Originally from the midwest, Ms. Schaffner pursued her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan and graduated from Wayne State University School of Law. Jennifer's legal background includes working at national and international firms in corporate transactions and commercial litigation. However, her passion for family law soon emerged, prompting her to dedicate her career to helping clients through difficult times.
Over the past 20 years, Ms. Schaffner has earned a reputation for her professionalism, meticulous attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to securing the most favorable outcomes for her clients in deeply personal matters.
Ms. Schaffner also served as a staff attorney for the Colorado Court of Appeals, an experience that significantly honed her skills in appellate advocacy.
