Carrie Chaille Eckstein

Carrie Chaille Eckstein is a Partner at Cline Caldwell.  Carrie is a member of the distinguished Family Law Team. Her practice includes handling high asset matters, drafting marital agreements, working as a mediator between cooperative clients, and resolving child custody disputes.  Carrie handles many high-net-worth clients in litigation and in marital agreements. She has reviewed many business partnership agreements, closely held family businesses, and complex trusts in the course of divorces and marital agreements.

Carrie’s experience as a Guardian Ad Litem and Child & Family Investigator for the Colorado Courts has given her extensive experience into court processes as well as into the needs of children and their families. Her work as a Parenting Coordinator/Decision-Maker has given her sharp insight into family situations, allowing her to bring clarity into emotionally confusing circumstances while protecting families.

Few things distinguish young attorneys like the Super Lawyers “Rising Star” award. A Rising Star fulfills all the rigorous standards of a Super Lawyers and they are either younger than 40 years old or have been practicing for less than 10 years. For perspective, less than 2.5% of the lawyers in Colorado meet these criteria. Carrie has been selected by her peers for the honor consecutively from 2011 – 2020.

Carrie has also been recognized for her volunteer work as a lawyer, winning the Pro Bono Legal Service Award. Her passion for helping others first expressed itself during law school, when she interned for an international adoption agency. She also gained valuable experience clerking for the Circuit Court in Indiana and as a legislative intern at the Arizona State Senate.  Carrie enjoys mentoring young attorneys in the practice of law, law students seeking entry into the legal profession, and high school students preparing for their professional career in law.
