Attorney Daniel Deasy is a founding partner of Ammarell Deasy LLP in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Mr. Deasy practices in the area of family law, representing clients in and surrounding metro Denver and beyond in matters involving divorce, adoption, child support, paternity, spousal support and more.  Mr. Deasy's experience in these areas has resulted in his undertaking work as a mediator, arbitrator, and parenting coordinator/decision maker (PCDM) in family law cases.  Mr. Deasy also handles personal injury, criminal defense and legal malpractice cases.

Mr. Deasy is a graduate of the University of Colorado School of Law in Boulder, Colorado, and has been licensed to practice in the state of Colorado since 1994. Throughout his more than 30 years in practice, he has both litigated and settled a variety of cases on a statewide basis. Mr. Deasy has been recognized within the legal profession by both peers and judicial officers for his dedication and skill, attaining the highest possible rating of AV Preeminent* from the renowned attorney peer review organization Martindale-Hubbell, and receiving Martindale's Judicial Edition Preeminent status.

While Mr. Deasy participates in legal organizations outside of his law practice such as serving as the former president of the Douglas-Elbert County Bar Association and as a former Vice President to the Colorado Bar Association, he also spends a great deal of time traveling around the country and teaching trial advocacy at various schools, conferences and seminars. One such organization he is devoted to sharing his knowledge with is the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA), one of the nation’s top providers of training in the area of legal advocacy.  Mr. Deasy has taught or served as Program Director for nearly 100 NITA programs.

Mr. Deasy’s dedication to legal education goes far beyond just one organization, however. He has also taught at the American Bar Association-sponsored family law trial advocacy institute for many years, the Colorado Bar Association (as both faculty and program director), the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association, the Colorado District Attorneys’ Council, the Colorado County Attorneys Association, Colorado's Office of the Child Representative and the City Attorney’s Office for the City and County of Denver.  Mr. Deasy has been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law for two decades, and also taught and coached mock trial at his alma mater, the University of Colorado School of Law.
