Top Rated Family Law Attorney in Greenwood Village, CO
Selected to Rising Stars: 2009
A co-founder of Ammarell Deasy, LLP, Laura Ammarell focuses her practice exclusively on family law matters. In practice since 1996, Laura has represented clients all over our state, assisting them in all phases of their family law cases from divorce through post-decree and beyond. This includes complex financial and property division matters, the allocation of parental responsibilities, spousal and child support matters, and proceedings to protect those impacted by domestic violence and abuse. Laura is a trained Child and Family Investigator and mediator, which broadens her ability to provide zealous and effective advocacy to those she represents.
In addition to providing private representation for more than two decades to those involved in family law disputes, Laura enjoys serving on the Executive Council of the CBA Family Law Section where she currently sits as Immediate Past Chair and Chair of the 2019 Annual Family Law Institute sponsored by the CBA-CLE. Laura has been elected by her peers to service on the Council since 2012. The Executive Council is dedicated to improving the practice of family law for all those involved, including education of its Section Members to use best practices when focusing on the needs of those involved in family law disputes. Laura is also regularly appointed to serve as a Guardian ad Litem in probate matters, and provides those services pro bono to those who need this protection. She is also a member of the Arapahoe, Douglas-Elbert-Lincoln and Denver Bar Associations, and is a designated Fellow of the Colorado Bar Foundation. She received the DEBA Professionalism Award and the 2009 SuperLawyers Rising Star designation.
Laura and her partner, Dan Deasy, are dedicated to providing strong advocacy to those involved in family law disputes. They have an office in Greenwood Village, although currently the firm provides all services remotely due to the pandemic. Laura, Dan and their associate attorneys are experienced in the use of digital and remote platforms, and have been involved in educating others how to best advocate using new technology and remote representation. Family law attorneys respect Laura as a formidable advocate, committed to helping her clients reach resolutions in their best interests and those of their children.
