Laura Ammarell, a co-founder of Ammarell Deasy, LLP, focuses her legal practice exclusively on family law matters. With over 28 years of experience, Laura has represented clients throughout the state, assisting them in various stages of their family law cases, including divorce, post-decree matters and beyond. She operates out of her law office in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
Ms. Ammarell’s legal experience encompass complex financial and property division issues, parental responsibilities, spousal and child support matters, as well as proceedings to protect individuals affected by domestic violence and abuse. Her training as a Child and Family Investigator and mediator enhances her ability to provide dedicated and effective advocacy to her clients.
In addition to her private representation of clients involved in family law disputes, Ms. Ammarell actively participates in the legal community. She serves on the executive council of the Colorado Bar Association’s (CBA) Family Law Section and also acts as a Guardian ad Litem in probate matters, providing pro bono services to those in need of protective measures. She maintains membership in the Arapahoe County Bar Association, the Douglas-Elbert County Bar Association (DEBA) and the Denver Bar Association and has been designated as a Fellow of the Colorado Bar Foundation.
A dedicated and zealous attorney, Ms. Ammarell’s contributions to the legal profession were recognized with the DEBA Professionalism Award. After graduating from the Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Arts in 1992, Ms. Ammarell earned her Juris Doctor cum laude in 1996 from the Gonzaga University School of Law.
