Sheena Moran, the founder of her eponymous law firm that is located in Denver, Colorado, provides high-quality legal representation to clients throughout the greater metropolitan area in the fields of business formation, business law, general counsel for businesses, estate planning, elder law, pet trusts, gun trusts, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. Although she has extensive experience in the issues pertinent to family law, such as child custody, child support, maintenance and the disputes that arise, Ms. Moran no longer handles family law cases, rather she draws on those experiences when planning for blended families, and how to protect family assets.
An impressive undergraduate at Eastern Kentucky University, Ms. Moran produced two Bachelor of Arts degrees, one in criminal justice with a minor in political science and the other in psychology with a minor in women’s studies. This culminated with Ms. Moran's being named class valedictorian and the school's Most Outstanding Senior. Subsequently, she graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2009 with honors and in the top 10% of the class. During law school, she interned with two district court judges. Ms. Moran was admitted to practice law in Colorado in 2009.
Ms. Moran’s practice is dedicated to preserving the welfare of the family and bringing peace of mind in difficult times. She brings her considerable skills and dedication to each matter before her to achieve optimal results for her clients. Additionally, Ms. Moran understands many legal issues are emotionally charged, and she treats her clients with the respect they deserve as she guides them through the process.
In advising clients, Ms. Moran draws on her personal experiences as a business owner, as the daughter of an entrepreneur, as someone with experiences with family illness, family members with Alzheimer's, family members with chronic illnesses, and addiction. These experiences allow Ms. Moran to bring compassion and experience to help advise clients on next steps for a successful business and estate plan. Ms. Moran is passionate about the need for an estate plan that is comprehensive and personalized. She ensures that all of her clients have talked through all aspects of the documents from how to handle a business owners death in business planning to when care changes from life saving care to comfort care if someone has dementia or Alzheimer's. She is thoughtful in her approach and sensitive to the delicate topics being discussed.
When not in the courtroom or the office, Ms. Moran has taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Denver and the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. In her downtime, she delights in the joy her children bring her and enjoys the beauty and resources of the great state of Colorado with her family.
