Attorney Elizabeth Bonanno is a Shareholder (partner) at Griffiths Law PC in Lone Tree, Colorado. Ms. Bonanno earned a Bachelor’s Degree in political science and Spanish from Truman State University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She went on to attain her law degree from the University of Colorado Law School, where she graduated with honors in juvenile and family law, and has been admitted to practice law in the state of Colorado since 2012.

In addition to being an experienced litigator, Ms. Bonanno is also trained in alternative dispute resolution methods and collaborative divorce. In 2015, she received formal training in collaborative divorce by Colorado Collaborative Divorce Professionals and enjoys employing the collaborative model to assist client in remaining outside of the courtroom.

Ms. Bonanno has received honors and recognition for her work in the legal profession, including being named an “Up and Coming Lawyer” by Law Week Colorado in 2015. She was also a finalist for the Gary McPherson outstanding young lawyer of the year award from the Colorado Bar Association in 2016.

Along with her law practice, Ms. Bonanno has authored articles for publications and has presented at seminars on family law topics. She is a member of several professional organizations, including Treasurer of the Metro Denver Interdiciplinary Committee, an organization committed to the improvement of family law via the intersection of the mental health and legal fields, the Denver Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, the Colorado Judicial Institute and the James E. Doyle American Inn of Court, and is a member of the Arapahoe County Best Practices Committee, an invite-only group of judicial officers, clerks and attorneys focused on improving family law in Arapahoe County.

Ms. Bonanno graduated with honors in juvenile and family law from the Universtiy of Colorado Law School.
