Kimberly Newton is an associate attorney at Griffiths Law, located in Lone Tree, Colorado. She focuses her practice on civil litigation and family law cases. Providing sound and knowledgeable counsel, she has represented companies, homeowners, business owners and community associations.
Ms. Newton has handled cases such as real estate disputes, insurance bad faith, construction defects, commercial litigation and business torts. She is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and is admitted to practice throughout the state of Colorado.
Ms. Newton approaches every case with empathy and provides personalized legal services to each of her clients. She enjoys problem-solving and creates customized and resourceful strategies to help clients navigate through this challenging time in their lives.
Ms. Newton has a Bachelor of Arts degree in interdisciplinary studies in public policy and media from the University of California, Berkeley. Graduating cum laude, she obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the Syracuse University College of Law.
While in law school, she was the recipient of the CALI Achievement Award. She was also a member of the Justinian Honorary Law Society and the Syracuse Law Review. In addition, she served as a teaching assistant for first- and second-year law students, teaching legal communication and research.
Ms. Newton served as a legal intern for the National Association of Broadcasters, where she analyzed legal issues and drafted legal pleadings and letters. She also interned for the PGA Tour, where she drafted tournament contracts and researched copyright issues.
In addition to her law practice, Ms. Newton loves spending time with family and friends, running with her dog , writing, skiing and traveling. Ms. Newton has a background in athletics, and this experience helps her strive to conquer legal barriers as well. She has participated in several marathons and was a ski instructor.
