Stephanie M. Fournier

Stephanie M. Fournier is an attorney at the law firm of Jorgensen, Brownell & Pepin, P.C., in Longmont, Colorado. She offers individualized services and compassionate representation to those who are facing family legal issues or federal and state criminal accusations. She has spent the past five-plus years helping her clients navigate matters related to child custody and support, contested divorce, adoptions, guardianships and property division. She has also been successful in obtaining favorable verdicts in DUI/DWAI cases, as well as in other criminal law cases.

Ms. Fournier attended The University of Vermont and completed her Bachelor of Science degree in history in 2011. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver – Sturm College of Law in 2016. While pursuing her undergraduate education, she studied abroad at Murdoch University in Australia, and while studying in law school, she spent a brief period off U.S. shores at the University of the Western Cape in South Africa.

Early in her career, Ms. Fournier interned at the Equal Education Law Centre, The Special Tribunal for Kenya and the Colorado League of Charter Schools. During law school, she was a part of the Civil Litigation Clinic. Furthermore, she served as a law clerk at the 20th Judicial District Attorney's Office in Boulder, Colorado.

As a result of Ms. Fournier’s accomplishments, she was certified as a Charter Member of Lawyers of Distinction. She was listed among the Best Criminal Defense Lawyers in Boulder by Expertise.com and among the Notable Women in Law by BizWest for making a significant difference within her community, and in addition, she is rated “Excellent” on Avvo. She holds memberships in the Colorado Bar Association, the Boulder Interdisciplinary Committee and the Boulder County Bar Association.

Ms. Fournier has given back to her community by volunteering to help those in need. She was on the board of directors of Children’s First of the Rockies, an organization assisting families in conflict or crisis. She also offered free legal help to low-income citizens by being part of the Ask-An-Attorney Volunteer program.
