THERE ARE NO OBSTACLES IN LAW. JUST CHALLENGES.

Burnham Law
Who We Are
Burnham Law’s Westminster office represents individuals, families and businesses in family law, civil litigation, criminal defense and probate matters. Located in the north Denver metro area, the office serves clients throughout Westminster, Adams County, Jefferson County and the surrounding communities.
Founded by Todd Burnham, Burnham Law has grown into a multi-office litigation firm serving clients across Colorado and Arizona. Our Westminster attorneys handle matters ranging from divorce and child custody disputes to criminal charges, business conflicts, real estate litigation and contested estate matters. The common thread is that each client comes to us with something important at stake and needs a clear understanding of what to do next.
Client Reviews and Reputation
Burnham Law has served thousands of clients and accumulated hundreds of public client reviews and testimonials across major legal and local review platforms. Those reviews reflect experiences with attorneys and legal teams throughout the firm and across family law, criminal defense, civil litigation and probate matters.
Clients frequently speak about communication, responsiveness, preparation and the guidance they received during difficult decisions. We believe those experiences are an important part of a law firm’s reputation. Awards and professional recognition provide one perspective, while feedback from former clients provides another.
Founder Todd Burnham holds a 10.0 Avvo rating and has been recognized by Super Lawyers over multiple years. Attorneys throughout Burnham Law have also received professional recognition from established organizations within the legal community.
Local Knowledge Matters
Westminster is unusual in that the city extends across both Adams and Jefferson counties. Depending on where a matter arises, clients may find themselves dealing with different courts, procedures and local considerations. Understanding that landscape can be particularly important in contested family, criminal and civil matters.
Our attorneys look beyond the immediate legal question to understand how the facts, the court involved and the client’s priorities fit together. That allows us to develop a strategy based on the actual situation rather than treating every case the same way.
Different Cases Require Different Approaches
A negotiated resolution may be the best outcome in one matter. Another may require decisive action and preparation for trial. Knowing when to pursue each approach is an important part of effective representation.
In family law, that can mean balancing immediate disputes with decisions that will affect children, property and finances for years. In criminal defense, early decisions can have consequences well beyond the courtroom. Business, real estate and probate disputes may involve assets, relationships and obligations that have developed over a long period of time.
Burnham Law is a litigation firm, but litigation is a tool rather than the goal in every case. Our Westminster attorneys focus on understanding what the client needs to accomplish, explaining the available choices clearly and pursuing the course that makes the most sense under the circumstances.
A Clearer Path Forward
Clients should know where their case stands and what comes next. We place a strong emphasis on direct communication so clients can understand the issues, evaluate their options and make informed decisions as the matter develops.
Whether the issue involves a family dispute, criminal charge, business conflict, real estate matter or contested estate, our goal is to bring structure to a difficult situation and provide careful preparation, practical judgment and experienced advocacy from beginning to resolution.
