Joshua D. Koskoff

An attorney at Koskoff Koskoff & Bieder PC, Joshua D. Koskoff represent clients in Connecticut in matters of personal injury. A compassionate, dedicated and creative attorney, he is the third generation of attorneys in his family to take on the role of an advocate for those who have been injured. One of his most significant cases is the representation of some of the families who lost loved ones in the Sandy Hook shooting as they pursue compensation from a gun manufacturer.

Mr. Koskoff also represented a client against Harvard University, and he finds the most satisfaction in fighting for his clients and their futures. A recipient of the Personal Injury Hall of Fame Award, he was also given the Champion of Justice Award from Connecticut Against Gun Violence. The Connecticut Law Tribune named him New Leader of the Law in 2004 and Connecticut Lawyer of the Year in 2017.

Admitted to practice in the state of Connecticut, Mr. Koskoff graduated from Syracuse University with his undergraduate degree before attending law school. In 1994, he graduated from Suffolk University Law School and earned his Juris Doctor degree. Throughout his career, he has recovered millions of dollars for the injured and their families.

A fellow of the Connecticut Bar Foundation, the International Society of Barristers, the American College of Trial Lawyers and the Inner Circle of Advocates, Mr. Koskoff is also a member of several professional legal organizations. These include the American Association for Justice, the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, the Connecticut Bar Association and the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association.
