Attorney Steinfeld represents a diverse set of individuals who have been seriously injured or have suffered a violation of their rights. Most recently, Attorney Steinfeld worked on the team representing Sandy Hook families in their defamation lawsuit against conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, winning a nearly $1 billion verdict. She won a civil rights trial victory against the Connecticut Department of Corrections, and has secured multi-million dollar settlements in wrongful death medical malpractice matters.
Attorney Steinfeld graduated from Oberlin College and Columbia Law School. Before coming to Koskoff, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jeffrey Alker Meyer on the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut and an Attorney Advisor at the Boston Immigration Court in the U.S. Department of Justice. She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice. She is active in state and local politics and serves on the cabinet of Emerge Connecticut, recruiting and training Democratic women to run for office.
