Daniel C. Thibodeau

Daniel C. Thibodeau is an experienced criminal defense and civil trial attorney providing sound legal advice and strategic representation to clients in Waterbury, Middlebury and the surrounding regions in Connecticut. Widely regarded for his legal knowledge, he joined the law firm of Minnella, Tramuta & Edwards, Attorneys At Law, in 2014 and has helped hundreds clients get their lives back on track.

A skilled litigator, Mr. Thibodeau prepares each case as if it will proceed to trial. He has secured several charge dismissals and favorable verdicts for those accused of DUI, felony, sexual assault, murder, cybercrimes, RICO violations, drug offenses, theft and more. Mr. Thibodeau pursued his Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice and sociology at the University of Hartford, where he was the team captain of the Men’s Rugby Club. He graduated in 2010 and received a doctorate in law from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2014. During law school, he worked as a student attorney at the Rhode Island Attorney General's Office where assisted a few trial attorneys with all stages of litigation in Providence, Rhode Island. 

Admitted to practice in Connecticut since 2014, Mr. Thibodeau has appeared in every State Criminal Court, including Federal District courts of Hartford, Bridgeport and New Haven, Connecticut, as well as before the United States Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit.
