I have been a practicing worker's compensation attorney in Hartford since 1986 and designate a majority of my practice to that area of specialization. I have been a Board Certified Worker's Compensation Specialist as designated by the Standing Committee for Board certification of the Connecticut bar Association since the inception of the program in 2001. Board Certification involves an extensive and ongoing certification examination, peer evaluation process, a demonstrated commitment to ongoing legal education in the field of worker's compensation law, and an extensive body of trial and appellate advocacy before the Connecticut Worker's Compensation Commission. I have extensive trial and appellate experience in worker's compensation and personal injury matters. I have made significant worker's Compensation Law in the area of Police officer Heart and Hypertension benefits in the case of Holston vs. City of New haven Police Department, and in general in the case of Marlene Cormier vs. The Macke Company. I am admitted to all Connecticut State Courts, the United States Supreme Court, and the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Court. I represent clients in Hartford, West Hartford, Bristol, Middletown, Cromwell, Enfield, Granby, Windsor, Avon, Simsbury, Thomaston, Plainville, New Britain and the entire Connecticut River Valley.
