Licensed to practice in Connecticut in 1981, he is also admitted to practice before all state courts of Connecticut and the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.   • For thirty years, Attorney Laudati has served as a director, officer and legal counsel to the Farmington River Watershed Association.  He is currently the Vice President of the association.  He sat on the Board of the Salmon Brook Watershed Association for more than a decade.  He is a past president of the Manitook Lake Association and an active member of the Friends of Manitook Lake.  He sits on the Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Commission for the Town of Granby.   • Bert Brander vs. Trisha Stoddard, Connecticut Temporary Administrator of Estate of Lily B. Frey – Docket Number:  LLI-CV13-6008351-S Litchfield Superior Court. John L. Laudati successfully represented the co-defendant in a quiet title action wherein the plaintiff alleged he had obtained title to his aunt’s farm by adverse possession.  This case is currently on appeal.
  • Barbara Guarco et al. vs. Michael Guarco Sr., et al – Docket Number: HHD-CV14-5038049-S Hartford Superior Court Attorney Laudati successfully co-defended a shareholder action to appoint a receiver for and dissolve a family owned business.
  • Congamond Lake Environmental Protection Organization, et al. vs. Suffield Zoning & Planning Commission, et al. – Docket Number:  HHD-CV14-6052169-S Hartford Superior Court. In a case of first impression, Attorney Laudati successfully proved on behalf of his client, that the Town of Suffield, CT Zoning Commission had exceeded its authority in granting a land owner’s special permit to mine a parcel of land.  The case turned on the Defendant’s claim that the land owner had a “vested interest” in the operation of the gravel operation.  This case is currently on appeal.
