A highly-regarded civil trial and appellate attorney, Brendon P. Levesque is the managing partner at Horton, Dowd, Bartschi & Levesque, PC. Mr. Levesque has been admitted to practice before all Connecticut state courts since 2003, and he is also admitted to practice in New York as well as before the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, the U.S. courts of appeals for the 2nd and 3rd circuits, and the Supreme Court of the United States. In addition, he is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

A significant portion of Mr. Levesque's practice involves his representation of attorneys in professional liability matters. In this regard, he has appeared on their behalf before the Statewide Grievance Committee, and he has defended them in malpractice proceedings in state trial and appellate courts. Mr. Levesque also regularly provides advice and counsel to attorneys and law firms regarding risk management, ethics, advertising and conflicts of interest, and he has appeared as an expert witness in professional negligence trials and hearings.

Mr. Levesque's litigation experience has also encompassed the representation of insurance companies and other defendants in personal injury and wrongful death litigation arising out of incidents involving defective products and premises liability, and he has represented clients who are appealing the termination of their parental rights. Mr. Levesque is the co-author of the Connecticut Practice Book Annotated, and he has written articles for law reviews and other publications.
