Mr. Ment earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law. He is licensed to practice law before the state courts of Connecticut and New York, the U.S. Tax Court and the U.S. District Courts for the District of Connecticut and the Southern District of New York. Mr. Ment is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Litigation Section, the American Bar Association’s Air Space Law Section and the International Bar Association’s Leisure Industries Section, and he has written on legal and travel issues for publications including The New York Times, the San Francisco Examiner and USA Today.

More than 1,000 local, state and federal law enforcement officers have asked Mr. Ment to assist them with matters ranging from workers’ compensation disputes to internal investigations. He also uses experience he acquired in the travel industry to help airlines, hotel companies and insurers deal with emergency situations while remaining in compliance with national and international laws.
