Joshua R. Feldman

A true advocate for his clients, Joshua R. Feldman is a partner at Ruel Ruel Burns Feldman & Britt in Hartford, Connecticut, and focuses mainly on family law matters such as divorce, parenting plans, child custody, support and visitation, division of assets, alimony and more. With his tenacious representation also comes a more diligent and amicable means of separating – methods such as collaborative divorce and mediation. 

After graduating with his bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Connecticut in 2010, Mr. Feldman attended the Quinnipiac University School of Law. While in law school, he took active roles in the Family and Juvenile Law Society and the Civil Clinic. At the latter organization, he attended matters pertaining to special education, unemployment benefits, housing, and wage and hour issues, among others. Before he received his Juris Doctor magna cum laude in 2013, he was the recipient of the Distinguished Academic Achievement Award and the Clinical Work Award.

A consummate professional through and through, Mr. Feldman employs every means to allow his clients to leave their worries in his hands, providing them with comfort and the confidence that their legal matter will be handled with grace and poise. With every case he takes, he dives deep into the financial and domestic situation surrounding his clients and works to provide a personalized strategy that would benefit them greatly.

Outside his law practice, Mr. Feldman holds memberships in organizations such as the Connecticut Bar Association (CBA) and the Hartford County Bar Association. He is also a member of the CBA’s Family Law Section and was part of their COVID-19 Taskforce as well. He is also actively involved within his local community, holding important positions in the Jewish Community Foundation, the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford and the Mandell Jewish Community Center of Greater Hartford.
