Mr. Bartschi has handled numerous appeals of cases involving family law and other civil matters, constitutional issues, and criminal defense. Mr. Bartschi has had several articles published in legal periodicals, and he is a co-author of the Connecticut Practice Book Annotated as well as the Connecticut Rules of Appellate Procedure, both of which are Thomson Reuters publications. He frequently lectures on appellate practice matters, and he conducted a seminar on Connecticut trial and appellate court cases at the 2019 Connecticut Legal Conference. Mr. Bartschi holds a bachelor's degree in music from the State University of New York at Potsdam and a master's degree in music from Arizona State University. He subsequently obtained his legal education at the University of Connecticut School of Law, and he was awarded his Juris Doctor with honors in 1996.
