Mary Mintel Miller

As a stockholder at Reid and Riege, P.C., in Hartford, Connecticut, Mary Mintel Miller offers legal services to clients handling tough disputes and regulatory matters. Her work involves copyrights, intellectual property, environmental matters, appellate advocacy, health and human services, real estate and zoning issues, and an extensive litigation practice that includes real property litigation, fiduciary and probate disputes, arbitration and mediation, and business litigation.

Ms. Miller represents clients in both trial and appellate proceedings, offering strategic guidance from the early stage of a case to its resolution. She also has knowledge of environmental and land use issues, where she advises clients on compliance, risk management and dispute resolution involving governmental agencies and private parties.

A consummate professional, Ms. Miller is admitted to practice law before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut and the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, allowing her to represent clients in myriad state and federal courts.

Ms. Miller graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology and English literature from Swarthmore College in 2005. She later went on to attend the William & Mary Law School, where she received her Juris Doctor in 2010. The same year she graduated from law school, she was licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and later expanded her practice to Connecticut.

An active member of the legal community, Ms. Miller serves as vice president of the Connecticut Italian American Bar Association and is a board member of the Connecticut Society for Women Environmental Professionals. She is also a member of the Connecticut Women’s Council, the New Haven County Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association and the Commercial Real Estate Women Network.
