Ryan P. Barry is the managing partner of Barry, Barall, Taylor & Levesque, LLC, in Manchester, Connecticut. A practicing attorney for over 20 years, Mr. Barry focuses his practice on personal injury and criminal defense law, serving clients throughout the greater Hartford area. 

Over his career, Mr. Barry has effectively represented individuals who have sustained a serious injury due to negligence or been charged with a crime. He has tried many cases before state and federal courts, obtaining favorable outcomes for his clients. In addition to his private clients, he is the town attorney for the Town of Manchester, Connecticut, and a corporator for United Bank and the Eastern Connecticut Health Network. 

After graduating with honors from the University of Connecticut with a bachelor’s degree, Mr. Barry earned his law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law. He gained practical experience during law school by externing for a federal judge. Upon law school graduation, he practiced at a private Hartford-based law firm, concentrating his practice on civil and commercial litigation.

Active in various professional organizations, Mr. Barry belongs to the Manchester Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Connecticut Association of Municipal Attorneys and the American Association for Justice. He holds licenses to practice law before all Connecticut state courts, the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit.

In honor of his accomplishments, Mr. Barry was named a life fellow of the Connecticut Bar Foundation. Outside of the legal world, he serves his community in many ways, volunteering with various organizations and sitting on several local boards.
