She served as the president of the Moot Court Honor Society and advanced to the quarterfinals in the National Appellate Advocacy Competition.

First admitted to practice in the state of Connecticut in 2001, Ms. Bellair is also qualified to appear in New York, the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut, the United States Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit and the Connecticut Supreme Court.

Ms. Bellair has been successful in securing millions of dollars in compensation on behalf of her clients in medical malpractice claims involving birth injuries, misdiagnosis, anesthesia and medication errors, emergency room errors and surgical mishaps. Some of her representative results include a $2.7 million verdict for a cancer patient and a $4 million verdict in a fatal interstate accident.

A long-serving member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA), Ms. Bellair has held several leadership positions in the organization, including as its president, co-chair and governor of the board – to name a few. She also holds memberships in the Connecticut Bar Association and the New Haven County Bar Association.
