Martha A. Wieler

A Partner at Welty Esposito & Wieler LLC, Attorney Wieler focuses her practice primarily on family matters throughout the state, including prenuptial and post nuptial agreements, dissolution actions, custody, support and post judgment issues. A forceful courtroom advocate, she has tried many family cases to conclusion. She also acts as a mediator and serves as a Special Master in pending family cases in New Haven, Milford and Middletown. Additionally, she practices Bankruptcy Law in the Federal Court in New Haven. She is an adjunct professor at the University of New Haven where she teaches Family Law.

She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association and the New Haven County Bar Association.

Attorney Wieler is admitted to practice in Connecticut, Vermont, the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut and the U.S. District Court for the District of Vermont.

As an undergraduate, Ms. Wieler attended Connecticut College in New London, where she majored in both English and Economics and received a Bachelor of Arts in 1986. She then went on to pursue her legal education at Vermont Law School, and in 1991, she was awarded her Juris Doctor cum laude. Attorney Wieler attended the Masters of Taxation program at the University of New Haven.
