With almost 30 years of experience, Robert L. Schwab is a valuable attorney at Kennedy, Johnson, Schwab & Roberge, L.L.C., handling matters of medical malpractice, car accidents and personal injury for the residents of New Haven and throughout the State. As a former trial attorney for Allstate Insurance Company, and a purchasing representative and subcontract administrator for Sikorsky Aircraft, Mr. Schwab brings a unique perspective to the business side of a practice that is 100 percent devoted to litigating.
Mr. Schwab was a graduate from Choate Rosemary Hall and earned his college degree from Amherst College before going on to the Quinnipiac College School of Law to earn a Juris Doctor in 1990. His cases include matters of criminal defense, workers’ compensation, civil disputes, product liability, premises liability and car accidents.
A member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and the New Haven County Bar Association, Mr. Schwab is licensed to practice in the State of Connecticut, and admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut. At the state level, he also handles issues of criminal defense.
Since 2007, Mr. Schwab has been selected by his peers in the Connecticut Magazine Super Lawyers publication in the area of personal injury litigation. Mr. Schwab participates in the New Haven County Bar Association and the Connecticut Bar Association. He is on the Board of Governors of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA) and he is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
