After completing his undergraduate studies in economics from Hofstra University, Mr. Errante pursued his law degree at the University at Buffalo School of Law. He was on the moot court board and competed in the National Moot Court Competition in 1977. He earned his Juris Doctor in 1978 and in the following year, he was admitted to practice law in Connecticut. He is further licensed to practice in New York and to appear before the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Throughout his career, Mr. Errante has represented a client roster that includes major utility and corporate giants such as United Illuminating, Southern Connecticut Gas, Connecticut Natural Gas and Sherwin-Williams. His courtroom advocacy and contributions to the legal field have earned him recognition, including induction into the prestigious Connecticut Law Tribune Personal Injury Hall of Fame. He also received the Connecticut Italian American Bar Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
With a commitment to legal leadership, Mr. Errante has held influential positions across Connecticut. He served as a Special Master for the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut and as a Superior Court Trial Referee. His leadership extends to the Connecticut Bar Journal, the New Haven County Bar Association and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, where he served on the Board of Governors.
