After earning a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College in 1987, Jeffrey M. Donofrio attended The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law. He received a Juris Doctor in 1990. He practiced at Tyler, Cooper & Alcorn until leaving on November 1, 1996 to co-found Ciulla & Donofrio, LLP.

Mr. Donofrio focuses his practice on business litigation, construction law and municipal law. He has experience guiding clients through a wide range of complex legal issues, including those involving contract disputes, business torts, property tax appeals and a broad array of municipal law services. He has extensive experience with ADR proceedings, including mediation and arbitration. He also serves as a mediator and arbitrator in construction disputes and as a special master for real property and personal property tax appeals. Mr. Donofrio’s practice covers all of Connecticut.

With over 28 years of experience, Mr. Donofrio knows how legal problems can impact business or municipal operations. He helps clients determine the most effective course of action and works to develop practical and efficient solutions. Giving back to the community is a priority for Mr. Donofrio. Carmel in Hamden, Connecticut. Currently, Mr. Donofrio is serving in an elected post on the board of education for the town of Trumbull.
