A 1987 graduate of Villanova University and member of the Phi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honors Society, Mr. O'Connor attended Quinnipiac University School of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 1990. The Connecticut Bar Association admitted him to practice that same year, and he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit.

A leader in his field, Mr. O'Connor has co-authored several publications involving civil trial practice basics and personal injury settlements as well as legal guides for paralegals. He has also conducted lectures and seminars across his region on a variety of legal topics, including the effective use of arbitration and mediation at obtaining settlements as opposed to litigation.

Mr. O'Connor is a member of the American Association for Justice and the Connecticut and New Haven Bar Associations. He also serves as arbitrator/mediator for the New Haven and Meriden Superior Courts as well as for Resolute Systems, Inc.
