Attorney Ronald Barba is the managing partner of Bender, Anderson and Barba, P.C., in North Haven, Connecticut. Mr. Barba represents community and homeowners’ associations throughout Connecticut. His clients include over 350 communities in cities including Bridgeport, Hartford, Milford, New Haven and Stamford.
A practicing lawyer for over 25 years, Mr. Barba has considerable experience litigating complex cases involving community governance, corporate governance, financing, foreclosure and other legal issues facing community associations. Earlier in his legal career, he focused his practice on family law and general litigation, before concentrating on real estate and tenant law issues.
Recognized for his knowledge and experience, Mr. Barba has been invited by professional organizations to lecture on topics, including collections, condominium finance and landlord-tenant law. He has testified before the Connecticut Legislature and spoken for the Connecticut chapter of the Community Associations Institute. He regularly attends conferences and seminars to stay up to date with the latest legal developments and continue developing his legal knowledge and skills.
Mr. Barba is active in various professional organizations. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and belongs to the association’s Insurance Law, Real Property and Litigation sections. He is also a member of the Federal Bar Association.
Prior to his legal career, Mr. Barba served in the United States Navy. He went on to earn an associate degree from Middlesex Community College, followed by a bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut. He received his law degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law. He holds licenses to practice law before all Connecticut state courts and the Supreme Court of the United States.
