Board certified as both a civil trial specialist and as a workers' compensation specialist, Mr. Colonese has more than 38 years of total legal experience, and he has gained a reputation as a staunch legal advocate who aggressively pursues the maximum amount of compensation possible for those he serves. A native of Connecticut, he has a genuine concern for the legal issues that affect the residents of his community, and he has recovered millions of dollars in total compensation for his plaintiff clients.

After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Connecticut in 1982, Mr. Colonese returned to his alma mater and obtained his Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1985. He is admitted to practice before all Connecticut state courts as well as before the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut and the Mohegan Gaming Disputes Court.
