Christina Hanna is an attorney at Berkowitz Hanna, and she has been with the firm for her entire career and a shareholder there since 2017. Based in Shelton and Stamford, Connecticut, she focuses her practice on personal injury and wrongful death litigation, representing clients in Fairfield County and throughout the state. Ms. Hanna attended Fairfield University as an undergraduate, and she majored in philosophy and received a Bachelor of Arts in 2000. She then went on to pursue her legal education at Quinnipiac University School of Law, and she was President of the Italian Law Society and was actively involved with the school’s Moot Court Honor Society before graduating with her Juris Doctor in 2003.
Ms. Hanna’s client base is made up of people who have been harmed due to the negligence of other parties. Her cases have been based on birth injuries and other types of medical malpractice, defective products, workplace injury accidents, premises liability, nursing home negligence, and truck and other motor vehicle crashes. Ms. Hanna has been successful in obtaining millions of dollars for her plaintiff clients, through arbitration, settlements that she has negotiated out of court and jury verdicts at the close of lengthy trials.
Some of Ms. Hanna’s results have included an arbitration award in excess of $1 million stemming from a motor vehicle crash and a $1.525 jury verdict after a wrongful death trial involving an automobile accident. These and other successful results have led to her receipt of an “Excellent” peer review rating through Avvo, among other recognition from her colleagues. Admitted to practice in Connecticut and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, Ms. Hanna is a member of several professional organizations, including the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association.
