Marissa L. Bigelli

Marissa L. Bigelli, a partner at Reich & Truax, PLLC, in Southport, Connecticut, is a seasoned family law attorney serving Fairfield County and the broader Connecticut region. 

Ms. Bigelli is admitted to practice in both Connecticut and Rhode Island. A native of Rhode Island, she obtained her Bachelor of Science from Providence College, followed by a Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University School of Law. She launched her legal career by establishing her own practice in Milford, Connecticut, where she focused on family law, small commercial transactions, probate and juvenile matters. 

Ms. Bigelli is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She holds certifications from the State of Connecticut as a Guardian ad litem (GAL) and Attorney for the Minor Child (AMC). She also serves as a Special Master in the judicial districts of Milford, Stamford and Bridgeport. In 2017, she completed a 40-hour mediation certification course at Quinnipiac University School of Law, further enhancing her qualifications. Her dedication and skill have earned her recognition as a Rising Star in Connecticut Magazine.

An active member of the legal community, Ms. Bigelli participates in several professional associations, including the Connecticut Bar Association’s Family Law Section, where she currently holds the Position of CLE Chair, the Milford Bar Association, American Bar Association, where she is co-chair of the Marital Property Section and the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association, Inc.
