Having worked on highly complex legal disputes his entire career, Mr. Levine served as co-counsel in numerous jury trials that resulted in plaintiff awards of more than one million dollars, including a medical malpractice case in which he achieved a settlement of $15 million before going to trial. He has also served as counsel for the state of Connecticut in cases against large tobacco, and he was instrumental in pushing for much higher awards for plaintiff clients through successfully asking the court to include interests and punitive damages.

Along with maintaining a successful trial practice, Mr. Levine also has extensive appellate experience, and he has served as amicus curiae for a number of organizations before the Connecticut Supreme Court in various matters of public policy, including death penalty appeals, school desegregation and the termination of parental rights. Honored for his outstanding professionalism and service, Mr. Levine has earned a Martindale-Hubbell Distinguished* peer review rating along with consistent recognition from The Best Lawyers in America, and he was inducted into the Connecticut Law Tribune's Hall of Fame.

A 1986 graduate of Harvard University, Mr. Levine obtained his Juris Doctor from Yale Law School in 1990. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut and the Southern District of New York as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit. He is an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, among his other professional affiliations.
