    Attorney Profile

A partner at GraberRoberts, LLC, Norman A. Roberts II focuses his practice exclusively on family law matters. Located in Stamford, Connecticut, he represents people throughout Fairfield County. Admitted to practice in Connecticut since 1996, Mr. Roberts is also admitted to practice in New York as well as before the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Mr. Roberts attended Fordham University in New York City as an undergraduate, where he majored in finance and received a Bachelor of Science in 1993. He then went on to pursue his legal education at Quinnipiac University School of Law in North Haven, Connecticut, and in 1996, he was awarded his Juris Doctor with honors. Mr. Roberts was a partner at area family law firms before co-founding his present firm in January 2018.

Many of Mr. Roberts’s clients are seeing their marriages coming to an end, and they turn to him for assistance in dealing with child custody and visitation, spousal and child support, and the division of marital assets and debts. He has always believed that negotiating a comprehensive divorce settlement agreement is the optimum way of handling these matters, but he realizes that this is not always possible. Thus, he can be a zealous courtroom advocate when litigation becomes necessary.

Mr. Roberts has also prepared and reviews prenuptial agreements, and he assists clients whose marriages have already been legally dissolved and who are now seeking modifications to or the enforcement of existing support and parenting court orders. A member of the Fairfield County Bar Association, he has frequently lectured and written on family law topics. He has received a 10.0 peer review rating through Avvo and other honors from his colleagues.
