The Connecticut Bar Association admitted him to practice that same year, and he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the District of Connecticut and the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, as well as before the U.S. Supreme Court.
Certified as a divorce mediator, Mr. Skovgaard strives to help his clients resolve their conflicts involving child custody and support and other aspects related to divorce in the most amicable and efficient manner possible. In addition, Mr. Skovgaard also serves as guardian ad litem to minor children, working hard to protect their rights and best interests during all divorce proceedings. He has also served as special master for divorce and family matters since 2002, and he has acted as an attorney trial referee since 1995.
