The managing member of Ambrogio, Pletter & Associates, LLC, in Stratford, Connecticut, Timothy M. Pletter concentrates his practice on all facets of bankruptcy law – including Chapters 7, 11 and 13 – as well as foreclosure defense, real estate closings and refinancings, debtor/creditor disputes, business formations and dissolutions, and the preparation of wills.
Throughout his career, Mr. Pletter has guided consumers and small‐business owners through financial crises brought about by job loss, unexpected medical costs, foreclosure threats, operational setbacks and overwhelming credit‐card obligations. Since Connecticut’s Foreclosure Mediation Program began in 2008, he has successfully saved hundreds of homes from the brink of foreclosure. He then attended Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 1995. He has been admitted to practice before all Connecticut and New York state courts, as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.

He holds an AV Preeminent* peer-review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and a “Superb” rating on Avvo.
