Jenna D. Hyler

Jenna D. Hyler is a dedicated family law attorney serving clients at Happy Even After Family Law in Hamden, Connecticut. Her approach to litigation is sharp and strategic, prioritizing her client’s goals. She has represented clients in matters of dissolution, custody and restraining order actions. She also has ample experience mediating and guiding clients through collaborative divorce processes. 

Ms. Hyler’s practice also involves drafting pre- and postnuptial agreements and counseling for mediated agreements as a review attorney. She approaches all family law matters with the profound understanding that they are inherently sensitive and emotionally taxing for those involved. Before she pursued legal studies, Ms. Hyler completed her master’s degree in psychology from the University of New Haven in 2016. After a few years of working in the service sector, she transitioned to law, gaining deep insight into the human side of family law. She gained her Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University School of Law, with honors in family law. While in law school, she served as editor-in-chief of the Quinnipiac Probate Law Journal. 

Also trained in collaborative divorce, Ms. Hyler obtained a 40-hour mediation certificate from Quinnipiac Center on Dispute Resolution, enhancing her capacity to assist families in reaching a resolution both within and outside of the courtroom. In the legal community, she is actively involved with the Connecticut Bar Association and the Hartford County Bar Association. She has received numerous distinctions for her clinical excellence and her academic achievement, notably receiving the American Law Institute’s Scholarship and Leadership Award. She maintains a “Very Good” rating on Avvo, which stands as a testament to her commitment to quality client service.
