Details

Recognized as a skilled trial attorney with more than 27 years of experience, Jennifer Rossi founded her own law office in West Hartford, Connecticut, in 2010. Ms. Rossi primarily focuses her practice on all phases, from intake through the trial and appellate stages, of commercial/business litigation matters, including breach of contract, breach of good faith, fraud, unfair and deceptive acts and practices and shareholder derivative actions. She also handles construction litigation and personal injury cases, including wrongful death.

Ms. Rossi is involved in multi-jurisdictional complex commercial/business litigation before state and federal courts in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York. Among her numerous high-profile clients is the U.S.-based credit arm of a major international bank, which she regularly represents in arbitration and litigation matters.

After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Connecticut, Ms. Rossi attended New England School of Law in Boston and obtained her Juris Doctor in 1995. She is admitted to practice before the state courts in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, and Georgia, in addition to several district and appellate courts.

Following her graduation from law school, Ms. Rossi had the opportunity to work at prominent litigation firms in Boston and Atlanta as an associate and then partner. When she returned to Connecticut, Ms. Rossi worked for a mid-sized regional firm where she chaired the consumer financial services team of that firm's business litigation group and served as a coach and trainer in that firm's trial training program.

Ms. Rossi has written and lectured extensively on trial and litigation subjects. She was a key lecturer at the Connecticut Bar Association's annual meetings for three consecutive years and was asked by the National Institute for Trial Advocacy to join its faculty to teach trial and litigation skills to other lawyers. Ms. Rossi also taught an interterm Moot Court class at the University of Connecticut School of Law as Adjunct Faculty. In recognition of the high regard in which her peers hold her, she has received Martindale-Hubbell's highest peer-reviewed rating of AV Preeminent*.
