EvaMarie Franco Fox

EvaMarie Franco Fox is an associate attorney at Rutkin, Oldham & Griffin in Westport, Connecticut, where she concentrates her practice on family law, particularly high net worth divorce. Ms. Fox has extensive experience practicing all areas of family law, including divorce litigation, post-judgment modifications and enforcement actions, and prenuptial/postnuptial contract drafting.  Her background also includes complex estate planning and employment contract negotiation and litigation. Her years of experience representing high net worth families in the estate planning context, as well as representing high-level executives in the employment context, gives her a unique understanding of complex assets and compensation structures that other family law attorneys often lack.  She represents clients throughout Fairfield County. 

During Ms. Fox’s nearly fifteen years of legal experience, she has been personally involved in all aspects of representation from client intake through trial, working directly with clients for the entirety of their cases.  She has significant experience working with families in crisis and handling heavily litigated matrimonial matters.  She provides personal and dedicated representation to her clients, delivering clear advice and support, and guiding them through all phases of the process. When possible, she resolves issues through negotiation, but is prepared to go to court when that is in the best interests of her clients.

In honor of her success in family law, the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys presented Ms. Fox with a “Top 10 Under 40” award. In 2020, she was listed in the publication Who’s Who of American Women.  Super Lawyers Magazine named Attorney Fox on the Connecticut Rising Stars list as one of the top up-and-coming attorneys in Connecticut in 2018, 2019, and 2020.

Ms. Fox graduated from Boston College with a bachelor’s degree in political science and psychology, and received her law degree from Fordham University School of Law. While attending law school, she participated in many activities and received the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award, summa cum laude. She holds licenses to practice law before the state courts of Connecticut and New York and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.
