India Butler

Within a relatively short period of time, India Butler has made mammoth progress within her legal community toward cementing a solid reputation as a stalwart advocate for her clients – fighting tooth and nail to get them the peace of mind they deserve. At Rutkin Oldham Contratto LLC, in Westport, Connecticut, she serves residents throughout the surrounding region, including in Stamford, Greenwich and throughout Fairfield County in family law matters such as divorce, child custody and support, alimony, and many others.

Ms. Butler completed her undergraduate studies in 2017, graduating cum laude with her Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Coastal Carolina University. She went on to attend the New York Law School, where her legal acumen and talents were shored up through her strong legal foundations and the active involvement she maintained on campus, with her service as a staff editor for the New York Law School Law Review playing an immense role. She received her Juris Doctor in 2020, and in the very next year, she obtained her license to practice law in Connecticut.
