Mark Desgrosseilliers is a partner at Wilmington, Delaware-based Chipman Brown Cicero & Cole, LLP. Representing clients throughout the country, he focuses his practice on complex business bankruptcy and restructuring matters. Mr. Desgrosseilliers is a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University, where he majored in biology and received a Bachelor of Science in 1993. He then enrolled at what was then known as the University of Maryland School of Law, and in 1999, he was awarded his Juris Doctor cum laude.

Prior to joining his current firm in November 2018, Mr. Desgrosseilliers was an attorney at a prominent global law firm and a partner at a transatlantic firm, in each case focusing his practice on the types of matters that he works on now. He has represented both creditors and business debtors in Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 proceedings, and his work has encompassed reorganizations, workouts, restructurings and litigation. Some of his representative cases have included serving as the lead counsel for creditors’ committees, as counsel for a liquidating trustee, and as counsel for debtors in a wide variety of industry segments and groups.

Mr. Desgrosseilliers has received a great deal of recognition from his colleagues for the high quality of his work and his superb professional ethics.
